Description
Since I dress up as a MadHatter so often, why not enter one into a contest? This photoshoot was fun despite being overheated; I ended up liking most of the weird poses the best.
Mad Hatter is a character that will forever haunt the back alleys of my mind; Wonderland is a series that pops up a lot in my dual lines of work. This incarnation however was the most fun. Instead of having to be alluring like the ones in the past I could use the influence of the movie visuals and create a wackier, more creative and characterized one. I’m a little put out by the movie though…I really wanted to see one of the books come to life, but I shouldn’t be talking either now, hmmm?
Everything was made or stylized by me, not that you can see them. Jacket, hat sash, ascot and hat accessories were sewn/crafted, movie influences include the lapel style, gloves, makeup, use of tea, etc. I know many people will object to green hair, but I rather like the difference. I was only working with materials on hand/already dyed and processed: the objective was to not buy anything for this one, and it was achieved.

Now, "...your hair wants cutting..."
